Just because the winter weather is gloomy doesn’t mean your window treatments can’t sparkle!!
Have you ever thought of simply adding some fabulous beads to the bottom edge of a cornice or valance? Crystal or cut glass beads come in a variety of colors, and catch the sunlight to add a warm glow to any room.
How about using some of your seldom-used jewelry as tiebacks? A long strand of pearls wrapped around a drapery panel adds a classic touch; sparkly chunky bracelets can be used to secure a throw swag for a very feminine look….bracelets don’t match? Wonderful….just adds to the fun!!!!
If your window treatments are just in the planning stage, then consider using some "glamorous" fabrics…….think textures with gold and silver threads; or metallic designs. even embroidered fabrics will add sparkle to any room.
