Most people only realize how dirty their blinds are after they hold a clean one next to an installed one. Years of dust, kitchen vapor, fireplace smoke, and pet dander build up inside cellular shades, between blind slats, and on the back side of window treatments where you simply cannot reach with a duster. UltaSonic cleaning is the industry-standard way to restore them — and the only way that's truly safe for delicate fabrics and finishes.
Our cleaning facility uses a professional UltaSonic cleaning system specifically designed for window treatments. The process works by submerging your blinds or shades in a temperature-controlled tank of water with specialized, fabric-safe cleaning solution. High-frequency sound waves create microscopic cavitation bubbles that gently lift dirt, oil, and contaminants from every surface — including the inside of cellular shade cells, the back of vanes, and the internal mechanisms of horizontal blinds. Unlike harsh chemical cleaning or aggressive scrubbing.
The result is dramatic. Most customers tell us their blinds look brand new — colors are brighter, fabrics feel softer, and the operation of the lift mechanism is noticeably smoother.
We clean faux wood blinds, aluminum blinds, cellular and honeycomb shades, and Silhouette® shadings. Real wood blinds cannot be cleaned in the ultrasonic tank — they can warp due to the liquid solution. Please call us to discuss ultrasonic cleaning of other products. (Plantation shutters typically don't require ultrasonic cleaning — a damp cloth handles those.) Drop off at any of our five Greater Cincinnati locations; pickup and re-hang are not included with cleaning service.

Cleaning waiver required
We have every cleaning and repair customer sign Our cleaning waiver. Older products carry real risk: paint can flake off aged aluminum mini blinds and dye can release from 20-year-old honeycomb shades. Honeycomb shades can delaminate. We do the best we can to determine risks and advise about those risks prior to bringing a product in for cleaning. We clean at the customer's own risk. We cannot replace 10-year old product with new product if the item should fail during cleaning; nor, can we replace a bank of window treatments or all the ones in one room, if a product fails in cleaning.
Most motorized products excluded
We do not disassemble motorized treatments to clean and reassemble them. In nearly all cases motorized products are not candidates for ultrasonic cleaning.
What we clean
Faux wood blinds, aluminum blinds, cellular / honeycomb shades, and Silhouette® shadings. We do not clean real wood blinds, Pirouette®, fabric or woven wood Roman shades, and rarely clean verticals or Luminette® (tank is 72" wide; most verticals are 84"+).

Inspection and waiver
Each product is inspected for damage, mechanism wear, and pre-existing repairs. Customers sign our cleaning waiver acknowledging the inherent risks for older products before any work begins.

Ultrasonic bath
Products are submerged in our ultrasonic tank with fabric-safe solution and cleaned at controlled temperature.

Rinse and dry
Thorough rinsing in clean water, then air-dry in a controlled environment to prevent watermarks or warping.

We notify you when your product is ready for pickup at the location of your choice.
